Who Are We?
Jesse & Amy have been in the 'making' scene for around 4 years with their business Custom Steel Appeal. When they attended markets for their own products, they kept hearing the same issues from other vendors - limited options for small quantities, low quality of service & long turnaround times.
With the specialised machinery that used in Custom Steel Appeal they started fielding requests from other makers for small orders on demand in our local area. In an effort to streamline the process and make it available for a wider audience Maker Supplies™ was born.
Maker Supplies™ has grown to include other hard to find materials. Machining metals started as a way of supplying aluminium offcuts to other hobbyists, and has grown into supplying new stock cut to order in a variety of different materials.

Great business to deal with. The Aluminum blocks are exactly what I need for my project. The only comment I have is the packing could be a little better. one block was damaged on a corner, as it was only wrapped in one layer of corrugated cardboard. Other than that a perfect result.
I have started regularly using these lids in various sizes. They are great quality and the service is very prompt. Very happy with this company.

Its not easy to run a small business, i did it for 10 years myself. Its even harder to do it well. I enquired about some specialised materials in a small quantity, i thought it was wishful thinking. You guys smashed it out of the park on this one. I got exactly what i was chasing, at a good price and delivered to my door half way across the country in a very short amount of time.
