A very easy to use source of Aluminium billet materials for the home workshop manufacture of custom made parts.
The range of sizes available of grades of material that are not easily sourced in small quantities or at a low cost makes these offcut blanks very competitive.
The pick-up option for local purchasers also reduces costs even more..
My recent purchase of 6061 T6511 aluminium almost halved the cost of an equivalent piece of material from an alternative source of supply.
I will certainly check the Maker Supplies stock list of off cut materials for any future products I need materials for.

I purchased these square copper bars (200mm long) with the intention of shaping them into large soldering iron tips. This is for my newly acquired gas blow torch.
